Immigrants swore in to become legal U.S. citizens during a Naturalization Ceremony held by the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services Friday morning at the Radisson Star Plaza in Merillville. Around 170 people swore the Oath of Allegiance from U.S. District Court Judge Phillip Simon to become U. S. citizens.
